AWAW is training 25 women leaders selected from all districts as trainers on methods for women to run to political office, a joint project with women’s Campaign International these will be three day trainings of 5 in all. The first of the series on Advocacy and Lobbying was conducted very successfully from the 27th to the 30th January 2008 in Kandy.
